Riverside Park – This Park which is sandwiched between Hudson River and Manhattan’s upper west side is a place where you will be excited to experience the site of numerous monuments. Don’t forget to carry binoculars as it will be useful for visiting the migrated birds at the north end of the park.  The best season one can have a brisk walk to this wonderful place is from May to October as you will also be surprised to have a watch on movies and other performances.

Highline Park – This yet other unique park is a 1.45 mile long which takes about 2 hours of walking time. No wonder that you will have a great time exploring this site which is 30 feet above the street level. You can also have a walk through the Chelsea Market to explore the birthplace of Oreo Cookies.

In addition, you can also extend the list to theplaces like 9/11 memorial museums and the alternative New York street art tour. The former place is a historic museum which marks the remembrance of the tragic event happened in Sep 11, 2001. Surrounded by around 400 trees, you will be awe stuck with the way it has been constructed. On the other hand, the street art tour gives you a vibrant walking experience. The arts showcase the contemporary American culture and diversified neighborhood which looks modern yet traditional.
